3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
Noah called for help. How blessed was the answer which he received. 75 And We saved him and his household from the great distress, 76 And We made his descendants those remaining [on the earth] 77 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 78 Salamun (peace) be upon Nuh (Noah) (from Us) among the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists)!" 79 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 80 Verily, he [Nuh (Noah)] was one of Our believing slaves. 81 Afterwards We drowned the others. 82 ۞ Of his party was also Abraham; 83 he came to his Lord with a sound heart. 84 When he said to his father and his people: What is it that you worship? 85 "Is it a falsehood- gods other than Allah- that ye desire? 86 What do you think of the Lord of the Worlds?" 87 Then he glanced a glance on the stars. 88 and said: “I am sick.” 89 So turning their backs, they went away from him. 90 Then he went quietly to the (temple of the deities) and said: “What is the matter with you, why do you not eat? 91 "What is the matter with you that ye speak not (intelligently)?" 92 then he turned on them, striking them down with his right hand. 93 Then came (the worshippers) with hurried steps, and faced (him). 94 Said he: What! do you worship what you hew out? 95 while it is Allah Who has created you and all that you make?” 96 They said, "Build him a furnace, and throw him into the blazing fire!" 97 And they devised a plot for him, but We made them the humble. 98 He said, "I will go to my Lord: He is sure to guide me. 99 My Lord, grant me [a child] from among the righteous." 100 We gave him the good news that he would have a patient, forbearing son. 101 And when he reached with him [the age of] exertion, he said, "O my son, indeed I have seen in a dream that I [must] sacrifice you, so see what you think." He said, "O my father, do as you are commanded. You will find me, if Allah wills, of the steadfast." 102 So when they had both submitted their wills (to Allah), and he had laid him prostrate on his forehead (for sacrifice), 103 We called out: "O Abraham, 104 Of a surety thou hast fulfilled the vision. Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 105 That was indeed a trying test. 106 And We ransomed him with a mighty sacrifice, 107 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 108 Peace be unto Abraham! 109 Thus indeed do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 110 For he was one of our believing Servants. 111 Then We gave him the good tidings of Isaac, a Prophet, one of the righteous. 112 We had blessed him and Isaac. Some of their offspring were righteous and others were openly unjust to themselves. 113

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
