Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
40 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah) before The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Nay! I swear by the day of resurrection. 1 and nay, I swear by the self-reproaching soul! 2 Does man (a disbeliever) think that We shall not assemble his bones? 3 Yea! WE are Able to put together evenly his finger-tips. 4 But man wishes to do wrong (even) in the time in front of him. 5 He asks, "When will be the Day of Judgment?" 6 So, when the sight shall be dazed, 7 And the moon is eclipsed 8 when the sun and the moon are brought together, 9 Man will say on that Day, "Where is the [place of] escape?" 10 Certainly not! There will be no place of refuge. 11 With your Lord alone will be the retreat that Day. 12 On that day, man will be informed of all what he sent ahead and left behind. 13 But lo, man is well aware of himself, 14 Even though he were to put up his excuses. 15 (Muhammad), do not move your tongue too quickly to recite the Quran. 16 for, behold, it is for Us to gather it [in thy heart,] and to cause it to be read [as it ought to be read]. 17 So, when We recite it, follow thou its recitation. 18 then it will be for Us to explain it. 19 By no means! Verily ye love the Herein. 20 And leave the Hereafter. 21 Some faces that Day shall be Nadirah (shining and radiant). 22 Looking toward their Lord. 23 and upon that day faces shall be scowling, 24 believing that a crushing calamity is about to strike them. 25 By no means! When it cometh up to the collar-bone. 26 and when it is asked: "Could any magician save him now?"; 27 and he realises that the hour of parting is come, 28 And one shin will curl up with the other shin. 29 To your Lord on that day shall be the driving. 30

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
