It is He who sends down water from the sky of which you drink, and which nourishes the plants you feed your cattle, 10 and thereby He brings forth for you crops, and olives, and palms, and vines, and all manner of fruit. Surely in that is a sign for a people who reflect. 11 He has subjected for you the night and the day and the sun and the moon and the stars have also been made subservient by His command. Surely there are Signs in this for those who use their reason. 12 And [He has subjected] whatever He multiplied for you on the earth of varying colors. Indeed in that is a sign for a people who remember. 13 It is He who has subdued the sea that you may eat fresh meat from it, and obtain ornaments to wear. You see the ships plough through it that you may seek of His bounties and, perhaps, be grateful. 14 And He cast on the earth firm mountains, lest it shake with you, and rivers and ways; so haply you will be guided; 15 And landmarks; and by the stars they find the right way. 16 Is the One who can create equal to the one who cannot create anything? Why, then, will you not consider? 17 And if you should count the favors of Allah, you could not enumerate them. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. 18 And Allah knows what you conceal and what you do openly. 19 And those they call upon, apart from God, created nothing, and themselves are created, 20 Dead, without life they are, and do not know when they will be raised. 21
