Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 On high hath He raised its canopy, and He hath given it order and perfection. 28 Its night He covers with darkness, and its forenoon He brings out (with light). 29 And after it spread out the earth. 30 therefrom brought forth its waters and its pastures, 31 And solidified the mountains. 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 Then when the Grand Calamity shall come 34 The day when man will call to mind his (whole) endeavour, 35 And the Scorch will be made apparent to any one who beholdeth. 36 So as for he who transgressed 37 And had preferred the life of this world, 38 most surely his abode shall be Hell. 39 But he who feared standing before his Lord, and restrained his self from vain desires, 40 Then indeed, Paradise will be [his] refuge. 41 (Muhammad), they ask you, "When will the Hour of Doom come?" 42 What do you have to do with explaining it? 43 To your Lord belongs (the knowledge of) the term thereof? 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth. 45 It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof. 46
