3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
Noah called to Us, and We are the Best to answer. 75 And We saved him and his household from the great distress, 76 and We made his offspring the only survivors. 77 We left mention of him among later generations. 78 Peace be upon Noah among all the peoples! 79 Thus indeed do we reward those who do right. 80 he was truly one of Our faithful servants. 81 Then We drowned the others 82 ۞ And indeed, among his kind was Abraham, 83 When he came to his Lord with a pure heart [attached to Allah Alone and none else, worshipping none but Allah Alone true Islamic Monotheism, pure from the filth of polytheism]. 84 Recall what time he said unto his father and his people: What is it that ye worship? 85 It is falsehood that you desire gods other than Allah! 86 “So what do you assume regarding the Lord Of The Creation?” (That He will not punish you?) 87 Then did he cast a glance at the Stars. 88 And he said, "I am indeed sick (at heart)!" 89 and at that they turned their backs on him and went away. 90 Then he went quietly to the (temple of the deities) and said: “What is the matter with you, why do you not eat? 91 "What is the matter with you that ye speak not (intelligently)?" 92 He struck them with his right hand. 93 Then they (the worshippers of idols) came, towards him, hastening. 94 Said he: What! do you worship what you hew out? 95 when it is God who has created you and all your handiwork?" 96 They said, "Construct for him a furnace and throw him into the burning fire." 97 And they desired a war against him, but We brought them low. 98 He said, "I will go to my Lord: He is sure to guide me. 99 My Lord, grant me a righteous (son)' 100 So We gave him the good news of a clement son. 101 And [one day,] when [the child] had become old enough to share in his [father's] endeavours, the latter said: "O my dear son! I have seen in a dream that I should sacrifice thee: consider, then, what would be thy view!" [Ishmael] answered: "O my father! Do as thou art bidden: thou wilt find me, if God so wills, among those who are patient in adversity!" 102 And when they had both submitted, and his son had laid down prostrate upon his forehead, 103 We called unto him, 'Abraham, 104 you have indeed fulfilled your dream. Thus do We reward the good-doers.” 105 It was certainly an open trial. 106 We ransomed his son with a great sacrifice 107 And We left for him among the posterity: 108 Peace be on Abraham. 109 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 110 he was among Our believing servants. 111 And we gave him tidings of the birth of Isaac, a prophet of the righteous. 112 We blessed him and Ishaque (Isaac), and of their progeny are (some) that do right, and some that plainly wrong themselves. 113
