Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

May the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he. 1 Of no avail shall be his wealth, nor what he has acquired. 2 he shall roast at a flaming fire 3 And his wife also: the firewood carrier; 4 Upon her neck a halter of strongly twisted rope. 5

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
