Blessed be He who, if He will, shall assign to them better than that -- gardens underneath which rivers flow, and he shall assign to thee palaces. 10 They deny the Hour. For those who deny that Hour, We have prepared a blazing fire. 11 When it (Hell) sees them from a far place, they will hear its raging and its roaring. 12 And when they are thrown into a narrow place in it, bound in chains, they will pray for death in it. 13 But they will be told, "Do not call today for one death, call for many deaths!" 14 Say, "Which is better, this or the Paradise of immortality which the righteous have been promised? It is their recompense and their destination." 15 There will they have whatever they wish, and there abide for ever." This is a promise incumbent on your Lord which will certainly be fulfilled. 16 BUT [as for people who are oblivious of thy Sustainer's oneness] one Day He will gather them together with all that they [now] worship instead of God, and will ask [those to whom divinity was falsely ascribed]: "Was it you who led these My creatures astray, or did they by themselves stray from the right path?" 17 They will answer, "Hallowed be You! It was not proper for us to choose any guardian other than You. But You gave them and their fathers the comforts of this life, so that they forgot Your reminder and thus brought destruction upon themselves." 18 God will say (to the idolaters), "Your idols have rejected your faith. You cannot avoid their rejection nor can you find any help. Anyone of you who commits injustice will be made to suffer a great torment." 19 We never sent any messengers before you who did not eat food and walk in the market-place. We make some of you a means of trial for others, to see whether you are steadfast. Your Lord is all seeing. 20
