The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the sky, and by the nightly comer! 1 And what will explain to thee what the Night-Visitant is?- 2 The piercing star! 3 [for] no human being has been left unguarded. 4 So let man consider of what he was created; 5 He was created from ejaculated water 6 That issued from between the loins and ribs. 7 Surely (Allah) is able to bring him back (to life)! 8 A day when the secrets will be examined. 9 Then will (man) have no power, nor any helper. 10 By heaven of the returning rain, 11 and the earth, bursting forth with plants! 12 the Quran is the final word, 13 And it is not a thing for amusement. 14 Behold, they [who refuse to accept it] devise many a false argument [to disprove its truth]; 15 And I am plotting a plot. 16 Therefore respite the unbelievers, and delay them for a while. 17
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
