Say: 'O my Lord, if Thou shouldst show me that they are promised, 93 do not, O my Sustainer, let me be one of those evildoing folk!" 94 And We are certainly able to show thee (in fulfilment) that against which they are warned. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We are Best Aware of that which they allege. 96 And say "O my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee from the suggestions of the Evil Ones. 97 And I seek refuge in Thee! O my Lord! from their presence. 98 Until, when death cometh unto one of them, he saith: My Lord! Send me back, 99 haply I shall do righteousness in that I forsook.' Nay, it is but a word he speaks; and there; behind them, is a barrier until the day that they shall be raised up. 100 When the trumpet blast is sounded no ties of lineage will hold among them, nor will they ask after one another. 101 If the side of ones good deeds weighs heavier on a scale, he will have everlasting happiness, 102 And he whose balances shall be light - these are they who have lost themselves; in Hell they are abiders. 103 The Fire shall scorch their faces, exposing their jaws. 104 [And God will say:] "Were not My messages conveyed unto you, and were you [not] wont to give them the lie?" 105 They will say: "Our Lord! Our wretchedness overcame us, and we were (an) erring people. 106 Lord, deliver us from Hell. Then, if we revert again, we shall definitely be wrongdoers." 107 Allah will say: "Away from Me; stay where you are and do not address Me. 108 "A part of My servants there was, who used to pray 'our Lord! we believe; then do Thou forgive us, and have mercy upon us: For Thou art the Best of those who show mercy!" 109 “So you took them for a mockery until your mocking at them made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them!” 110 Lo! I have rewarded them this day forasmuch as they were steadfast in that they, even they, are the triumphant. 111 He will say: how long tarried ye on the earth in number of year? 112 They will reply: 'A day, or part of a day; ask those who have kept count' 113 He shall say, 'You have tarried but a little, did you know. 114 "Did ye then think that We had created you in jest, and that ye would not be brought back to Us (for account)?" 115 Then high exalted be God, the King, the True! There is no god but He? the Lord of the noble Throne. 116 And whoever invokes (or worships), besides Allah, any other ilah (god), of whom he has no proof, then his reckoning is only with his Lord. Surely! Al-Kafirun (the disbelievers in Allah and in the Oneness of Allah, polytheists, pagans, idolaters, etc.) will not be successful. 117 Say: "My Lord, forgive and have mercy. You are the best of the merciful." 118
