The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When the event befalleth - 1 no soul will deny its coming. 2 abasing, exalting, 3 When the earth is shaken with a shaking [severe,] 4 And the mountains will be crushed, blown to bits. 5 and become like scattered dust particles, 6 you shall be divided into three parties, 7 Those on the right hand; how happy shall those on the right hand be! 8 And the People on the Left: and how miserable will be the People on the Left! 9 and the Outstrippers: the Outstrippers 10 Who will be honoured 11 In the gardens of bliss. 12 Many of them will be from the ancient people 13 but only a few from the later generations. 14 They will recline on jewelled couches 15 reclining upon them, facing one another [in love]. 16 Round about them shall go youths never altering in age, 17 Carrying bowls and pitchers – and cups filled with wine flowing before them. 18 No headache will they have therefrom, nor will they be intoxicated - 19 And fruits that they may like. 20 And the flesh of fowls that they desire. 21 And (there will be) Companions with beautiful, big, and lustrous eyes,- 22 Like pearls safely hidden. 23 A reward for what they used to do. 24 They will not hear therein ill speech or commission of sin - 25 All talk will be sound and upright. 26 Those on the Right, how fortunate are those on the Right! 27 They shall be in the midst of thornless lote trees, 28 and banana trees, 29 and extended shade, 30 By water flowing constantly, 31 and abundant fruits, 32 Whose season is not limited, and their supply will not be cut off, 33 And maidens incomparable. 34 Perfectly We formed them, perfect, 35 And made them virgins. 36 Loving, of equal age. 37 For the Companions of the Right Hand. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
