Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven splits open. 1 When the Stars are scattered; 2 when the seas swarm over, 3 And when the graves are overturned. 4 Every soul will come to know what it has sent ahead and what it left behind. 5 Human being, what evil has deceived you about your Gracious Lord, 6 Who created you proportionately and fashioned you 7 Shaping you into any form He pleased? 8 Nay! But ye do reject Right and Judgment! 9 Surely, there are guardians watching over you, 10 noble scribes 11 who know whatever you do. 12 The pious will surely be in heaven, 13 and the wicked shall be in the Blazing Fire. 14 roasting in it on the Day of Recompense 15 nor shall they ever be absent from it. 16 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 17 Again, what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 18 A day on which no soul hath power at all for any (other) soul. The (absolute) command on that day is Allah's. 19
