O ye messengers! enjoy (all) things good and pure, and work righteousness: for I am well-acquainted with (all) that ye do. 51 Your religion is one and I am your Lord. Have fear of Me". 52 But people have cut off their affair (of unity), between them, into sects: each party rejoices in that which is with itself. 53 So leave them in their error for a time. 54 Do they assume that the wealth and sons which We provide them – 55 We are hastening them on to good things? Aye! they perceive not. 56 Only those who are, out of fear of Him, humble before their Lord, 57 And those who believe in the revelations of their Lord, 58 And those who with their Lord associate not anyone. 59 And those who give whatsoever they give, while their hearts are anxious that unto their Lord they are to be returners. 60 it is they who vie with one another in doing good works and shall be the foremost in doing so. 61 We do not burden a soul beyond capacity, for We have a record that tells the truth. No wrong will be done to any one. 62 But their hearts are covered with confusion over this, and they have [evil] deeds besides disbelief which they are doing, 63 Till, when We seize with the chastisement the ones of them that live at ease, behold, they groan. 64 Cry not for succor this day; surely you shall not be given help from Us. 65 Indeed My Verses used to be recited to you, but you used to turn back on your heels (denying them, and with hatred to listen to them). 66 Stiff-necked, discoursing thereof by night, reviling. 67 Pondered they not over the Word? or came there unto them that which came not unto their fathers ancient? 68 Or did they not know their Messenger, so they are toward him disacknowledging? 69 Or do they say, "In him is madness?" Rather, he brought them the truth, but most of them, to the truth, are averse. 70 Had the truth followed their caprices, the heavens and the earth and whosoever in them is had surely corrupted. Nay, We brought them their Remembrance, but from their Remembrance they turned. 71 Or is it that you ask them a recompense? But the recompense of your Lord is best, and He is the best of those who provide sustenance. 72 and, most surely, you are calling them to a straight path. 73 But those who do not believe in the Hereafter have indeed deviated from that path. 74 ۞ If We took compassion on them and removed the affliction they are in, they would only wander lost in confusion. 75 And We had gripped them with suffering [as a warning], but they did not yield to their Lord, nor did they humbly supplicate, [and will continue thus] 76 To the extent that when We opened the gate of a severe punishment for them, they thereupon lie despairingly in it. 77
