To whoever We give a long life We make him stoop. Do they not understand? 68 AND [thus it is:] We have not imparted to this [Prophet the gift of] poetry, nor would [poetry] have suited this [message]: it is but a reminder and a [divine] discourse, clear in itself and clearly showing the truth, 69 that he may warn the living, and so that Judgement may be passed against the unbelievers. 70 Have they not seen what We have created from the labor of Our own hands? We have given them cattle. 71 We have subjected the cattle to them so that some of them they ride and eat the flesh of others. 72 and may have [yet other] benefits from them, and [milk] to drink? Will they not, then, be grateful? 73 And they have taken (other) gods beside Allah, in order that they may be helped. 74 Instead, the disbelievers will be brought into the presence of God as the soldiers of the idols. 75 So let not their speech grieve thee (O Muhammad). Lo! We know what they conceal and what proclaim. 76 Has the human not seen how We created him from a drop (of sperm)? Yet he is a clear opponent. 77 And [now] he [argues about Us, and] thinks of Us in terms of comparison, and is oblivious of how he himself was created! [And so] he says, "Who could give life to bones that have crumbled to dust?" 78 Say, "He will give them life Who created them for the first time! for He is Well-versed in every kind of creation!- 79 He, Who produces for you fire out of the green tree, when behold! You kindle therewith. 80 Is not He Who created the heavens and the earth able to create the like of them? Yea! and He is the Creator (of all), the Knower. 81 When He wills a thing, His command is to say to it 'Be', and it is! 82 So glory to Him in Whose hands is the dominion of all things: and to Him will ye be all brought back. 83
