Say, [Prophet], "I am only a warner. There is no god but God, the One, the All-Powerful, 65 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them; the Almighty, the Forgiving' 66 Say: “This is a tiding of tremendous import 67 “You are neglectful of it!” 68 I had no knowledge of the High Assembly's dispute. 69 “I receive only the divine revelations, that I am purely a clear Herald of Warning.” 70 When your Lord said to the angels: “Verily I am creating a human being from clay. 71 So when I have fashioned him and breathed into him (his) soul created by Me, then you fall down prostrate to him." 72 So the angels prostrated - all of them entirely. 73 save Iblis; he waxed proud, and was one of the unbelievers. 74 [Allah] said, "O Iblees, what prevented you from prostrating to that which I created with My hands? Were you arrogant [then], or were you [already] among the haughty?" 75 He said: "I am better than he. You created me from fire, and him from clay." 76 (Allah) said: "Then get thee out from here: for thou art rejected, accursed. 77 "And My curse shall be on thee till the Day of Judgment." 78 But Satan said, "My Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Resurrection," 79 Allah said: verily, thou art of those respited. 80 till the Appointed Day." 81 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "By Your Might, then I will surely mislead them all, 82 Save Thy bondmen among them Sincere. 83 (God) said: "This is right by Me, and what I say is right. 84 That I will most certainly fill hell with you and with those among them who follow you, all. 85 Say, [O Muhammad], "I do not ask you for the Qur'an any payment, and I am not of the pretentious 86 It is nothing but a reminder to the nations; 87 You will certainly know its truthfulness after a certain time. 88
