Al-A 'araaf 8 of 24

We had certainly sent Noah to his people, and he said, "O my people, worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him. Indeed, I fear for you the punishment of a tremendous Day. 59 The chieftains of his people said: Lo! we see thee surely in plain error. 60 [Noah] said, "O my people, there is not error in me, but I am a messenger from the Lord of the worlds." 61 (sent) to convey to you the messages of my Lord and to advise you, for I know from Allah what you do not know. 62 Does it seem strange to you that a reminder from your Lord should be sent to a man, from among you, to warn you so that you might receive mercy?" 63 But they denied him, so We saved him and those with him in the Ark, and We drowned those who rejected Our signs. They were indeed a blind people. 64
