Say: 'I am only a warner. There is not any god but God, the One, the Omnipotent, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver." 66 Say: "That (this Quran) is a great news, 67 "From which you turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted assembly [of angels] when they were disputing [the creation of Adam]. 69 “I receive only the divine revelations, that I am purely a clear Herald of Warning.” 70 When thy Lord said unto the angels: Lo! I am about to create a mortal out of mire, 71 So when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My [created] soul, then fall down to him in prostration." 72 Then the angels bowed before him in a body, 73 except Iblis who puffed himself up with pride and became a disbeliever. 74 He said: O Iblis! what prevented you that you should do obeisance to him whom I created with My two hands? Are you proud or are you of the exalted ones? 75 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "I am better than he, You created me from fire, and You created him from clay." 76 (Allah) said: "Then get out from here, for verily, you are outcast. 77 Upon you will be My damnation till the Day of Doom." 78 He said: "O Lord, give me respite till the day the dead rise from their graves." 79 Said He, 'Thou art among the ones that are respited 80 till the Day whose Hour I know.” 81 He said: Then, by Thy might, I surely will beguile them every one, 82 except those of Your servants, the chosen ones from amongst them.” 83 Allah said: the truth is, and it is the truth that I speak 84 [That] I will surely fill Hell with you and those of them that follow you all together." 85 (Muhammad), say, "I do not ask any reward for my preaching to you for I am not a pretender. 86 This [divine writ,] behold, is no less than a reminder to all the worlds — 87 you shall before long know its truth." 88
