We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And showed them the right path. 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
