The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 Those are the signs of the Manifest Book. 2 Belike thou shalt kill thyself with grief because they become not believers. 3 But if We had so willed, We could have sent down to them a sign from the heavens so that their heads would be bowed down before it in utter humility. 4 And never does a new advice come to them from the Most Gracious, but they turn away from it. 5 thus, indeed, have they given the lie (to this message as well). But [in time] they will come to understand what it was that they were wont to deride! 6 Do they not see the earth, and what beneficial kinds of things We have caused to grow in it? 7 Verily, in this is an Ayah (proof or sign), yet most of them (polytheists, pagans, etc., who do not believe in Resurrection) are not believers. 8 Verily Your Lord is Infinitely Mighty, Most Compassionate. 9
