The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ AR-RAHMAN 1 It is He Who has taught the Qur'an. 2 Created man, 3 [And] taught him eloquence. 4 The sun and the moon are in a reckoning. 5 And the herbs and the trees - both (alike) prostrate in adoration. 6 And Allah has raised the sky; and He has set the balance. 7 so that you would maintain justice. 8 and weigh with justice, and skimp not in the Balance.) 9 And the earth! He hath lain it out for the creatures. 10 On it are fruits and palm-trees with sheathed clusters [of dates], 11 Also corn, with (its) leaves and stalk for fodder, and sweet-smelling plants. 12 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 13 He created man from dry clay like earthen vessels, 14 whereas the invisible beings He has created out of a confusing flame of fire. 15 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 16 Lord of the two easts and of the two wests is He. 17 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 18 He has let forth the two seas, they meet together, 19 Between them is a Barrier which they do not transgress: 20 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 21 From these seas come forth pearls and coral. 22 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 23 His are the ships, towering on the sea like mountains. 24 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 25
