The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Woe to every fault-finding backbiter; 1 who amasses wealth, counting it over, 2 thinking his riches have made him immortal! 3 No! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher. 4 And what shall make thee know that which the Crushing Fire is? 5 It is the fire kindled by God 6 Which penetrates the hearts 7 It will engulf them. 8 In extended columns. 9

God the Almighty always says the truth.
