Al-Najm 3 of 3
Have you [Prophet] considered the man who turned away, 33 Who gives but little, and is niggardly? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the Unseen, and therefore he sees? 35 Or, has he not been informed of what is in the scriptures of Musa? 36 and about Abraham who fulfilled his duty (to God)? 37 That no bearer of burden shall bear the burden of another- 38 That a man receives but only that for which he strives; 39 and that his labouring shall surely be seen, 40 then he shall be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense, 41 That to thy Lord is the final Goal; 42 that it is He who causes to laugh and causes to weep. 43 and that it is He who causes to die, and causes to live 44 and that He Himself created the two kinds, male and female, 45 from an ejaculated drop (of sperm), 46 and that He will bring about the Second Creation; 47 And that He it is Who enriches and gives to hold; 48 And that He is the Lord of the Sirius; 49 And that He destroyed the first [people of] 'Aad 50 And destroyed the tribe of Thamud, not sparing anyone? 51 and the people of Noah; they were the most unjust and rebellious people. 52 And Al-Mu'tafikah He destroyed 53 So there covered them that which covered. 54 So, which of your Lord's bounties will you doubt?” 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The Day of Judgment is drawing nearer. 57 None beside Allah can disclose it. 58 Marvel ye then at this statement, 59 Will you laugh at it rather than weep? 60 While you are proudly sporting? 61 Bow instead in adoration before God and worship Him. ۩ 62

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
