Seest thou not that We have set the devils on the disbelievers to confound them with confusion? 83 Hence, be not in haste [to call down God's punishment] upon them: for We but number the number of their days. 84 The Day will surely come when We shall gather the God-fearing like [honoured] guests before the Compassionate God 85 And drive the guilty unto hell, a weary herd, 86 who have no power of intercession, except those who have taken a covenant with the Merciful. 87 As it is, some assert, "The Most Gracious has taken unto Himself a son 88 Certainly you have made an abominable assertion 89 Thereby the heavens are nearly torn and the earth split asunder, and mountains fall crashing down 90 For they have attributed a son to Ar-Rahman, 91 although it is inconceivable that the Most Gracious should take unto Himself a son! 92 There is none in the heavens and the earth but cometh unto the Beneficent as a slave. 93 He has indeed counted them, and He has numbered them exactly. 94 And each one of them will come before Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 Indeed, the Most Compassionate Lord will soon create enduring love for those who believe and do righteous works. 96 Therefore, We have revealed the Qur'an in your tongue and made it easy to understand that you may give glad tidings to the God-fearing and warn a contentious people. 97 And how many a generation We destroyed before them! Dost thou perceive so much as one of them, or hear of them a whisper? 98
