Al-Hummazah

The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Woe unto every backbiter, slanderer, 1 Who amasses wealth and hordes it. 2 thinking his riches have made him immortal! 3 On the contrary! He shall be flung to the Crusher. 4 What shall let you know what the Crusher is? 5 It is a fierce fire created by God 6 which will rise over the [guilty] hearts: 7 verily, it will close in upon them 8 In pillars stretched forth. 9

Almighty Allah's Truth.
