The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
182 verses, revealed in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By those [angels] lined up in rows 1 and those who drive away [the wicked] with reproof 2 And those who read (the Word) for a reminder, 3 Verily your Ilah (God) is indeed One (i.e. Allah); 4 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and of all that is between them; the Lord of the Easts. 5 We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the stars 6 And to guard against every rebellious devil. 7 (So) they should not strain their ears in the direction of the Exalted Assembly but be cast away from every side, 8 They are rejected and theirs is an everlasting punishment; 9 And if any is able to snatch a fragment, he is pursued by a piercing flame. 10 So ask them, are they stronger in constitution, or those whom We have created. We have created them of sticky clay. 11 But you wonder, while they mock, 12 When they are reminded, they do not remember. 13 and, when they see a sign, would scoff; 14 And say, "This is not but obvious magic. 15 Is it ever possible that after we die and are reduced to dust and (a skeleton of) bones, we will be raised to life? 16 Will our forefathers also be brought to life again?" 17 Say, "You will certainly be brought back to life in disgrace". 18 There will be a single stern rebuff and lo, they will be observing with their own eyes (all that they had been warned against). 19 They will then say: “Woe for us. This is the Day of Judgement.” 20 “Yes, this is the Day of Final Decision that you used to deny as a lie.” 21

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
