And the people of the Hijr (rocks) denied the Noble Messengers. 80 And We gave them Our Signs, but they were averse to them. 81 And they used to carve from the mountains, houses, feeling secure. 82 But As-Saihah (torment - awful cry etc.) overtook them in the early morning (of the fourth day of their promised punishment days). 83 And that which they were wont to count as gain availed them not. 84 And We have not created the heavens and earth and that between them except in truth. And indeed, the Hour is coming; so forgive with gracious forgiveness. 85 Lo! Thy Lord! He is the All-Wise Creator. 86 And assuredly We have vouchsafed unto thee seven of the repetitions and the mighty Qur'an. 87 Do not yearn for other people's property and wives and do not grieve (that they do not believe). Be kind to the believers. 88 And say thou: verily I! I am a plain warner. 89 (We have given you the Quran) as We had given (the Bible) to those who divided themselves into groups 90 Who have made the Qur'an into portions. 91 So, by your Lord, We would most certainly question them all, 92 About all what they used to do. 93 (O Prophet), proclaim what you are commanded, and pay no heed to those who associate others with Allah in His Divinity. 94 Truly! We will suffice you against the scoffers. 95 Who set up along with Allah another god; presently they shall know. 96 And surely We know that your breast straitens at what they say; 97 But celebrate the praises of thy Lord, and be of those who prostrate themselves in adoration. 98 And keep worshipping your Lord, till death* comes to you. (* The certainty.) 99
