Noah's folk denied the messengers (of Allah), 105 Behold, their brother Noah said to them: "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 106 "I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 107 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me 108 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being; 109 Hence, remain conscious of God, and pay heed unto me!" 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in thee when it is the meanest that follow thee?" 111 He said: "It is not for me to know what they were doing. 112 It is only for my Lord to take account of them. Would that you made use of your understanding! 113 "And I am not going to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain warner. 115 They said: "If thou desist not, O Noah! thou shalt be stoned (to death)." 116 He said, “My Lord, my people have denied me.” 117 so give true deliverance between me and them, and deliver me and the believers that are with me. 118 So We saved him and those with him in a laden ship. 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them were not believers. 121 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 122
