Believers, do not consume usury, doubled and redoubled, and fear Allah, in order that you shall prosper. 130 And beware of the Fire gotten ready for the infidels. 131 And obey Allah and the Messenger; that ye may obtain mercy. 132 ۞ And hasten for the pardon of your Lord, and for Paradise extending over the heavens and the earth, laid out for those who take heed for themselves and fear God, 133 for those who spend, both in prosperity and adversity, who restrain their anger and are forgiving towards their fellow men -- God loves those who do good works. 134 (Paradise) is also for those who, when committing a sin or doing injustice to themselves, remember God and ask Him to forgive their sins. Who can forgive sins besides God? And who do not knowingly persist in their mistakes? 135 Those -- their recompense is forgiveness from their Lord, and gardens beneath which rivers flow, therein dwelling forever; and how excellent is the wage of those who labour! 136 There have been many dispensations before you; so travel in the land and see what befell those who denied the truth. 137 This is a declaration for mankind, a guidance and an admonition unto those who ward off (evil) 138 And do not become faint of heart, nor grieve, you will have the upper hand, if you are believers, 139 if you have suffered a wound, they too have suffered a similar wound. We bring these days to men by turns, so that God may know those who believe, and choose witnesses from among you; and God does not love the unjust, 140 And that Allah may purge those who believe and destroy the infidels. 141 Did ye think that ye would enter Heaven without Allah testing those of you who fought hard (In His Cause) and remained steadfast? 142 You were longing for death, before you met it. Now you have seen it with your own eyes. 143
