Q (Qaaf)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Qaf: By the Glorious Qur'an (Thou art Allah's Messenger). 1 Nay; they wondered that a warner should have come to them from among themselves. The unbelievers said: “This indeed is a strange thing. 2 When we are dead and have become dust (shall we be brought back again)? That would be a far return! 3 We already know how much of them the earth takes away: With Us is a record guarding (the full account). 4 They gave the lie to the Truth when it came to them. So they are now in a state of great perplexity. 5 What, have they never observed the heaven above them, (and seen) how We built and adorned it, leaving no crack? 6 We spread out the earth and set upon it firm mountains, and We cause every delightful thing to grow in it 7 As instruction and reminder to every penitent creature. 8 And We send down blessed water (rain) from the sky, then We produce therewith gardens and grain (every kind of harvests) that are reaped. 9 And tall date-palms laden with clusters ranged. 10 As a provision for our bondmen; and therewith We have quickened a dead land. Even so will be the coming forth. 11 (Others) before them rejected (prophets): the people of Nuh and the dwellers of Ar-Rass and Samood, 12 and Aad, Pharaoh and the brothers of Lot, 13 And the dwellers of the Wood and people of Tubba'. Each of them denied the apostles. So My threat became a reality. 14 So did We tire by creating the first time? Rather they doubt being created again. 15
