The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
