Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Perish the hands of AbiLahab, and perish he! 1 His property and worldly gains will be of no help to him. 2 He shall soon enter a Blazing Fire, 3 and his wife, laden with firewood 4 with a rope of twisted fibre round her neck. 5

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
