The people of Nuh (Noah) belied the Messengers. 105 span class="col">Their brother Noah asked them, "Why do you not fear God? 106 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 107 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me 108 "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds: 109 so fear you God, and obey you me.' 110 ۞ They said, “Shall we believe in you, whereas the abject people are with you?” 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they do? 112 My Lord alone can bring them to account, if only you could understand, 113 I am not going to drive away any believers. 114 I am only a clear warner." 115 They said: if thou desistest not, thou shalt surely be of those stoned. 116 [Whereupon] he prayed: "O my Sustainer! Behold, my people have given me the lie: 117 Therefore judge Thou between me and them with a (just) judgment, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 We saved him and those who were with him in a fully laden Ark, 119 Then We drowned the rest (disbelievers) thereafter. 120 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 121 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 122
