۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 And Pharaoh sent heralds unto all cities, 53 "There is a small group of people 54 "And they are raging furiously against us; 55 But we are a fully accounted army." 56 So We made them leave the gardens and springs of water, 57 their treasures and a noble station. 58 This happened with them; (but on the other hand), We enabled the Children of Israel to inherit those bounties. 59 And so [the Egyptians] caught up with them at sunrise; 60 When the two groups came close to each other, the companions of Moses said, "We will be caught". 61 He replied: Nay indeed! My Sustainer is with me, [and] He will guide me!" 62 Thereupon We inspired Moses thus: Strike the sea with thy staff!" - whereupon it parted, and each part appeared like a mountain vast. 63 Then We brought near the others [Fir'aun's (Pharaoh) party] to that place. 64 and We saved Moses and all who were with him, 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Verily there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 And yet, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 68
