The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The (Day) of Noise and Clamour: 1 What is the Calamity? 2 And what can make you know what is the Striking Calamity? 3 A Day on which human beings would be like so many scattered moths, 4 And mountains will be like flying wool. 5 Then, the one whose good deeds weigh heavy on the scales, 6 He shall be in a life well-pleasing. 7 But as for one whose scales are light, 8 He will have his home in Hawiyah (pit, i.e. Hell). 9 And what can make you know what that is? 10 It is a blazing fire. 11
