Surely warners came to the people of Pharaoh. 41 They belied Our signs everyone thereof; whereof We laid hold of them with the grip of the Mighty, Powerful. 42 What, are your unbelievers better than those? Or have you an immunity in the Scrolls? 43 Or do they say: "We are a well-accoutred army?" 44 The hosts shall soon be routed and they shall be put to flight. 45 In fact, the Hour of Doom is the time for them to suffer. The suffering of this hour is the most calamitous and the most bitter (of all suffering). 46 Truly those in sin are the ones straying in mind, and mad. 47 The Day they will be dragged in the Fire on their faces (it will be said to them): "Taste you the touch of Hell!" 48 BEHOLD, everything have We created in due measure and proportion; 49 We command but once: Our will is done in the twinkling of an eye; 50 Thus, indeed, did We destroy people like you [in the past]: who, then, is willing to take it to heart? 51 All their deeds are recorded in their books: 52 Every matter, small and great, is on record. 53 Lo! the righteous will dwell among gardens and rivers, 54 Seated in an assembly of the Truth, in the presence of Allah, the Omnipotent King. 55
