Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

DESTROYED WILL BE the hands of Abu Lahab, and he himself will perish. 1 No profit to him from all his wealth, and all his gains! 2 He will be roasted in the fire, 3 together with his wife, that carrier of evil tales, 4 shall have a rope of palmfiber around her neck! 5

God the Almighty always says the truth.
