The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
OH, the sudden calamity! 1 What is the crash? 2 And what could make thee conceive what that sudden calamity will be? 3 On that Day human beings shall be like scattered moths, 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool. 5 And then, he whose weight [of good deeds] is heavy in the balance 6 He will live a pleasant life. 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 His dwelling shall be the Abyss. 9 And what could make thee conceive what that [abyss] will be? 10 It is a blazing fire. 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
