We sent Noah to his people. He told them, "Worship God for He is your only Lord. I am afraid of the punishment that you might suffer on the great Day (of Judgment)". 59 The leaders of his people said, “Indeed we see you in open error.” 60 [Noah] said, "O my people, there is not error in me, but I am a messenger from the Lord of the worlds." 61 I deliver to you the Messages of my Lord, and I advise you sincerely; for I know from God that you know not. 62 “And are you surprised that an advice came to you from your Lord through a man amongst you, so that he may warn you and that you may fear, and so that there be mercy upon you?” 63 But they charged him with falsehood. Thereupon We delivered Noah and those who were with him in the Ark, and caused those who rejected Our signs as false to be drowned. Surely they were a blind folk. 64
