The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ THE TRUE BELIEVERS will be successful, 1 Those who in their prayer are lowly. 2 Who avoid vain talk; 3 And who are payers of the poor-due; 4 And who guard their private parts, 5 Except from their wives or those their right hands possess, for indeed, they will not be blamed - 6 As for those who seek beyond that, they are transgressors" 7 And those who of their trusts and covenant are keepers. 8 and those who observe their prayers. 9 These are the heirs 10 Those who will get the inheritance of Paradise; they will abide in it forever. 11 We created man out of the extract of clay, 12 Thereafter We made him of a sperm in a receptacle safe. 13 then We made this drop into a clot, then We made the clot into a lump, then We made the lump into bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, and then We caused it to grow into another creation. Thus Most Blessed is Allah, the Best of all those that create. 14 After that, at length ye will die 15 Then you will all be raised on the Day of Resurrection. 16 We have created seven paths above you; We have never been unmindful of Our creation. 17 We have sent a measure of water from the sky to stay on earth and We have the power to take it away. 18 With it, We produced for you gardens of palms and vines, yielding abundant fruit for you to eat. 19 as well as a tree that issues from [the lands adjoining] Mount Sinai, yielding oil and relish for all to eat. 20 And indeed in the cattle is a lesson for you; We give you to drink what is in their bellies, and there are many benefits for you in them, and in them is your food. 21 And on them, as well as in ships, ye ride. 22
