The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
WHEN THE EARTH quakes with her [last] mighty quaking, 1 and earth brings forth her burdens, 2 And man says, “What has happened to it?” 3 That day she will relate her chronicles, 4 For your Lord will have commanded it. 5 On that Day mankind will proceed in bands, that they may be shewn their works. 6 whoever has done the smallest particle of good will see it; 7 And whosoever has done even an atom's weight of evil will behold that. 8
