The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ The Merciful 1 Has taught (you mankind) the Quran (by His Mercy). 2 He has created man: 3 He has taught him speech (and intelligence). 4 The sun and moon revolve to a computation; 5 [before Him] prostrate themselves the stars and the trees. 6 He raised the heaven on high and set the scale. 7 (Transgress not in the Balance, 8 and weigh with justice, and skimp not in the Balance.) 9 And the earth has He spread out for all living beings, 10 Therein are fruits, date-palms producing sheathed fruit-stalks (enclosing dates). 11 the grain in the blade; and aromatic herbs. 12 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you deny? 13 He created man of fermented clay dried tinkling hard like earthen ware, 14 And the jinn did He create of smokeless fire. 15 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 16 He is Lord of the two easts and Lord of the two wests. 17 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 18 He hath loosed the two seas. They meet. 19 Between them is a barrier [so] neither of them transgresses. 20 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 21 There come forth from them pearls, both large and small. 22 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 23 His are the lofty ships, that rear aloft on the sea like mountains. 24 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 25

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
