Truly, the God-fearing shall dwell amid gardens and fountains -- 45 'In peace and security, enter them' 46 We shall strip away all rancour that is in their breasts; as brothers they shall be upon couches set face to face; 47 There, no fatigue shall smite them, nor shall they ever be driven from it' 48 ۞ Inform My servants that I am the Forgiving, the Merciful, 49 and that My punishment is a painful one. 50 And tell them about the guests (the angels) of Ibrahim (Abraham). 51 When they entered unto him, and said; peace! He said: verily we are afraid of you. 52 They said, 'Be not afraid; behold, we give thee good tidings of a cunning boy.' 53 He said: Do you give me good news (of a son) when old age has come upon me?-- Of what then do you give me good news! 54 They said: we bear tidings of a truth; be then thou not of the desponding. 55 He said: And who despaireth of the mercy of his Lord save those who are astray? 56 [Abraham] said, "Then what is your business [here], O messengers?" 57 They said, "Indeed, we have been sent to a people of criminals, 58 excepting the folk of Lot; them we shall deliver 59 excepting only his wife, [of whom God says,] 'We have ordained [that,] behold, she should be among those who stay behind!' 60
