The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta'. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the Book that makes (things) clear. 2 Perhaps you will kill yourself with grief because they do not believe. 3 Had We wanted, We would have sent them a miracle from the sky to make their heads hang down in submission. 4 [But We have not willed it:] and so, whenever there comes unto them any fresh reminder from the Most Gracious, they [who are blind of heart] always - turn their backs upon it: 5 Indeed they have denied, so now soon coming upon them are the tidings of what they used to scoff at. 6 Do they not see the earth, how many of every noble kind We have caused to grow in it? 7 Verily, in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 8 Your Lord is the Majestic and the All-merciful. 9
