The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

WOE unto every slanderer, fault-finder! 1 Who pileth up wealth and layeth it by, 2 Does he think that his wealth will prolong his stay on earth forever? 3 By no means! They will be thrown into hutamah. 4 And what have you understood what the Crushing One is! 5 It is the fire kindled by Allah, 6 which shall oversee the hearts, 7 covered down upon them, 8 in columns outstretched. 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
