This, (Quran), is certainly the revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 192 It has been revealed through the trustworthy Spirit 193 Upon your heart (O Muhammad SAW) that you may be (one) of the warners, 194 In the plain Arabic language. 195 And verily it is in the Scriptures of the ancients. 196 Is it not a Sign to them that the Learned of the Children of Israel knew it (as true)? 197 But [even] had We bestowed it from on high upon any of the non-Arabs, 198 So that he should have recited it to them, they would not have believed therein. 199 Thus do We cause (unbelief) to enter the hearts of sinners. 200 They will not believe in it until they see the painful punishment. 201 But the (Penalty) will come to them of a sudden, while they perceive it not; 202 They will say, "Can we be granted any respite?" 203 So do they wish to hasten Our punishment? 204 Did you consider that if We were to let them enjoy life for many years 205 And then cometh that which they were promised, 206 (How) that wherewith they were contented naught availeth them? 207 Never a city We destroyed, but it had warners 208 As a reminder; and never have We been unjust. 209 The satans have not revealed the Quran; 210 They are not worthy of it, nor have they power. 211 The satans are barred from listening to anything from the heavens. 212 So call on no other god but God, lest you are condemned to torment; 213 Warn your tribe and your near kinsmen. 214 And lower thy wing to the Believers who follow thee. 215 If they disobey you, say, "I bear no responsibility for what you do." 216 And put thy trust in the Mighty, the Merciful. 217 who sees you when you stand 218 And thy movements among those who fall prostrate. 219 He is All-hearing and All-knowing." 220 Shall I inform you, (O people!), on whom it is that the evil ones descend? 221 They descend upon all sinful self-deceivers 222 They pass on what is heard, and most of them are liars. 223 Poets are followed by the perverse. 224 Hast thou not seen how they stray in every valley, 225 And that they say that which they do not? 226 Except those who believed and did good deeds, and profusely remembered Allah, and took revenge after they had been wronged*; and soon the unjust will come to know upon which side they will be overturned**. (* The Muslim poets who praise Allah and the Prophet. ** The disbelievers will be punished.) 227
