The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By those who range themselves in ranks, 1 And those who restrain by reprimanding, 2 And those who recite the message, 3 Verily your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and that between them and Lord of the sunrises. 5 We have indeed decked the lower heaven with beauty (in) the stars,- 6 And have placed therein a guard against any satan froward. 7 The devils cannot hear those high above. They would be struck from all sides 8 To make them flee, and for them is a never-ending punishment. 9 Except such as snatch away something by stealing and they are pursued by a flaming fire of piercing brightness. 10 (Muhammad), ask them, "Have they (people) been created stronger than what We have created?" We have created them from moist clay. 11 Nay! you wonder while they mock, 12 And when they are admonished, they receive not admonition. 13 When they are shown a sign, they scoff at it 14 And they say, “This is nothing but clear magic.” 15 Why - after we have died and become mere dust and bones, shall we, forsooth, be raised from the dead? 16 "And also our fathers of old?" 17 Say: Aye! and you shall be abject. 18 There will only be a single jerk, and they will gape, 19 They will say, "Woe to us!" (They will be told), "This is the day of receiving recompense". 20 (A voice will say,) "This is the Day of Sorting Out, whose truth ye (once) denied!" 21
