The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 who determined and guided, 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
