۞ Then I swear by the setting of the stars, 75 And this surely is great evidence if you can understand -- 76 That this is indeed a qur'an Most Honourable, 77 in a well-guarded preserved Book, 78 Which none toucheth save the purified, 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 Would you, now, look down with disdain on a tiding like this, 81 And make denial thereof your livelihood? 82 Wherefore then - when the soul cometh up to the wind-pipe 83 and that hour you are watching 84 And Our angels are nearer to him than you, but you do not see - 85 Then why do you not, if you are not to be recompensed, 86 That you send it (not) back-- if you are truthful? 87 Then if he is one of those drawn nigh (to Allah), 88 happiness [awaits him in the life to come,] and inner fulfillment, and a garden of bliss. 89 If it is of the people of the right hand, 90 Then peace to you from those on the right hand. 91 But if he is of the deniers and the errants, 92 Then for him is entertainment with boiling water. 93 and the roasting in Hell. 94 This is indeed an utmost certainty. 95 So celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme. 96
True are the words of God the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah). Sent down in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
