The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the heaven adorned with big stars. 1 And by the Day promised, 2 And by the Day witnessing and the Day witnessed, 3 Accursed be the People of the Ditch! 4 Of fire fuel-fed, 5 When they sat by it, 6 And they themselves are witnesses to what they were doing to the Muslims! 7 whom they hated for no other reason than that they believed in God, the Almighty, the Praiseworthy, 8 Him unto Whom belongeth the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is of all things the Witness. 9 Verily, as for those who persecute believing men and believing women, and thereafter do not repent, hell's suffering awaits them: yea, suffering through fire awaits them! 10 As for those who believed and acted righteously, theirs shall be Gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great triumph. 11 Surely the might of your Lord is great. 12 Indeed it is He Who initiates and redoes. 13 and He is the Ever Forgiving, the Most Loving 14 – the Lord of the Glorious Throne, 15 Performer of what He desires. 16 Has the story reached you of the hosts, 17 of the Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 In fact the disbelievers are in denial. 19 And Allah, all unseen, surroundeth them. 20 Nay, but it is a glorious Koran, 21 (Inscribed) in a Tablet Preserved! 22
