Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Ya'. Sin. 1 By the Quran, full of wisdom, 2 Lo! thou art of those sent 3 On a path that is straight, -- 4 It is a Revelation sent down by (Him), the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 5 That thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were not warned; so they are negligent. 6 The Word is proved true against the greater part of them: for they do not believe. 7 Indeed, We have put shackles on their necks, and they are to their chins, so they are with heads [kept] aloft. 8 We have set-up a barrier in front of and behind them and have made them blind. Thus, they cannot see. 9 Alike it is to them whether thou hast warned them or thou hast not warned them, they do not believe. 10 You can only warn him who follows the Reminder (the Quran), and fears the Most Beneficent (Allah) unseen. Bear you to such one the glad tidings of forgiveness, and a generous reward (i.e. Paradise). 11 It is We who bring the dead to life and records the deeds of human beings and their consequences (of continual effects). We keep everything recorded in an illustrious Book. 12
