The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)

286 verses, revealed in Medina after The Cheaters (Al-Mutaffifeen) before The Spoils of War (Al-Anfaal)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

AlifLaamMeem. 1 That is the (Holy) Book, where there is no doubt. It is a guidance for the cautious (of evil and Hell). 2 who believe in the unseen, establish the Salats and expend (in Our way) out of what We have bestowed on them; 3 who have faith in what has been revealed to you and others before you and have strong faith in the life hereafter. 4 These are guided by their Lord; these surely are the prosperous. 5 As to those who reject Faith, it is the same to them whether thou warn them or do not warn them; they will not believe. 6 Allah has set a seal upon their hearts and upon their hearing and there is a covering over their eyes, and there is a great punishment for them. 7
